The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) celebrates its 10th Anniversary this year, marking a decade of exploration, discovery and outreach. A special exhibition is held at the museum from 7 May 2025 - 3 May 2026.

This exhibition is designed by Currency, with Vouse as the multimedia designer. Vouse produced a series of interactive stations in the gallery as part of the special exhibition, ranging from information kiosks to an interactive expedition game. Visit the exhibition to find out more!

10th Anniversary Special Exhibition

A new book and a special exhibition to mark LKCNHM’s anniversary were launched at the opening event by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The exhibition features three general sections on the museum’s history, past and present projects it has undertaken, and what the future holds for it.

Let’s Go on an Expedition!

Explore the role of a marine biologist by embarking on an interactive expedition at the museum. Hop aboard the expedition vessel in this interactive game and help to sort out the new specimens that are discovered in the expedition. Simply drag and drop the sea creatures into the correct box before the time runs out. Be careful not to be distracted by trash along the way. Try to get a perfect score!

The Biodiversity of Singapore

The special exhibition is also supplemented with information kiosks that allow visitors to find out more about the biodiversity of Singapore. This info-kiosk is a rapidly growing online digital reference collection of the flora and fauna that can be found in Singapore. It also functions as a research database that tracks the numerous new species discovered by the LKCNHM.
