The Data Center Lab is an immersive gallery that brings visitors inside the complex and often unseen world of data centers. It is part of a series of experiential risk management galleries designed to transform technical subjects into engaging, accessible and memorable experiences.
Designed and produced by Vouse, the exhibition combines an immersive LED environment, detailed 3D-printed models, responsive product showcases and conversational AI. Visitors progress through three distinct zones, moving from a shared virtual experience to close-up physical exploration and, finally, personalised learning.
Immersive Virtual Data center
Enter a life-sized virtual data center presented via a large LED volume. Surrounded by expansive digital environments, visitors can experience the scale and atmosphere of a facility as though they were standing inside it, without needing to enter an operational data center.
Presenters can guide the audience through different locations and viewpoints, shifting seamlessly between the exterior of the building, technical rooms, equipment areas and larger infrastructure networks. Animated visualisations, changing perspectives and spatial storytelling make invisible processes easier to see and understand, turning a presentation into a shared journey through the data center environment.

3d-printed models and Smart showcase
After the virtual experience, step into the physical gallery and be greeted by two exploded 3D-printed models of different data centers. Visitors can walk around the models, look between their separated layers and examine how spaces, equipment and supporting systems are arranged within each building type.
The models encourage close observation and comparison, allowing visitors to understand the differences between different data center configurations at a glance. Alongside them, smart showcases create a more interactive product-viewing experience. Lighting, digital content and physical displays work together to reveal the purpose and application of different early-detection and fire-suppression technologies.

Conversational AI Learning Station
Conclude the journey with a self-directed AI experience. Visitors can ask questions in natural language and explore subjects that are most relevant to their interests, experience or industry. Rather than following a fixed sequence of information, each visitor can shape their own learning journey. The station provides an accessible way to revisit topics encountered throughout the gallery, clarify technical concepts and continue exploring beyond the content presented in the earlier sections.
